Avocado is one of the most nutritious fruits, packed with minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C, vitamin E, and B-complex, as well as high in Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs). It’s perfect as it is so you can enjoy it on its own or it can be a very attractive addition to salads, raw soups, smoothies or desserts. Remember that some nutrients are ‘fat soluble’ and need to be combined with fat in order to be utilized and avocados are the perfect food for supporting that process; it can dramatically increase the nutrient value of other plant foods that you’re eating! By eating an avocado every day you’re nourishing your entire body, even Boosting Your Brain; about 60% of a human brain is build of fatty tissues so your brain needs healthy fats!

Avocado Boosting Pudding

Avocado paired up with mineral and antioxidant-rich raw cacao! Another way to adapt this amazing fruit to boost your energy by creating this delicious and full of nutrients dessert! If your child in not keen on avocados, this is a perfect way to hide them in this delicious, creamy pudding!

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tsp raw cacao powder (carob for Kids)
  • 1 tsp raw maca powder
  • 1 tsp lucuma
  • 4-5 dates chopped in small pieces
  • vanilla (optional)
  • 1/4 spirulina (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp raw turmeric
  • Pinch Himalayan salt
  • Pinch cinnamon (optional)
  • Small amount almond milk sweetened with dates

Avocado Pudding Decor

Instructions

In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients; add milk just to make it creamy and smooth.  Garnish with raw cacao nibs, hemp seeds or coconut flakes, or anything else you want to go for. If you make this for children, involve them in that process and let them to decorate this pudding, using their imagination. Play with colours, this could be like paining, let them have fun! Regarding the last post about individuality, this is a perfect opportunity to use this recipe as a starting point and create your individual version!
