I N D I V I D U A L I T Y!

We are individuals, not numbers! Statistics work perfectly for marketing and selling purposes! You are being targeted every day in many different ways how to get ‘your five-a-day’ product or apply a proven strategy that worked for hundreds of people. This kind of approach would work if we were all the same but we are not machines, we can’t be treated like computers, using the same software! It is very sad to see that most people are trapped into that system which is not serving them. There are universal principles that can be applied to all humans but only up to a certain level. What is good for you might not necessarily be good for other person!

DNA Eye Fingerprint

Allergies, asthma, obesity and other conditions seem to dominate and control so many people, including children! Poor diet & lack of awareness contribute to that enormously!

According to Dr Vladimir Voeikov of the Biology Department at Moscow State University and his discoveries, described by dr Tom Chalko in one of his books, our metabolism could be as individual as our DNA or our fingerprints! This is a very short way to suggest that many allergies could be cured if people could commit to self-examination, develop their own individual dietary requirements and preferences and become conscious of what they eat. This suggests that food compatible with one person may not necessarily be compatible with other people.

We are unique in many different ways, including our immune system and digestive system; therefore there is no recipe that would suit everyone. You need to lesson to your body and become aware of the signs and symptoms that can help you to select what is good for you and create your own individual way of eating. Observe how you feel after eating certain foods and how your body reacts. When you introduce a new product, start using it in small quantities first and then increase gradually, allowing your body to adapt slowly. At the same time, revise the most frequently used foods to make sure they are not causing allergies or conditions; foods that we tend to like and use mostly might be the main allergens. There are no two people, whose digestive system would work in exactly the same way.

Apart from the challenges, being unique has also a great advantage; it forces you in many ways to use your intuition & intellect that you have been gifted with, to set off for a conscious self-discovery journey and create your own unique life. Let the intelligence of your body find your individual voice and let it express your inner and outer beauty!

Make your day SPECIAL!

Make your day SPECIAL!

Raw is simple and delicious – it takes only about 15 minutes to create these delicious and vibrant treats that are going to highlight your day and make you feel HAPPY & ENERGISED!

Raw TreatsAll you need is:

  • handful of soaked sunflower seeds
  • handful of walnuts
  • 1 tsp raw cacao (carob for Kids)
  • 5 dates
  • 2 tbsp desiccated unsweetened coconut
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp barley grass powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • pinch of Himalayan salt

Put sunflower seeds and almonds in a food processor and blend for a moment, just to crumble them. Then add the other ingredients and process them until everything is combined together to a sticky mixture. Using a heart shaped mould, fill the entire ‘heart’ tightly or you can create balls or any other shape.

Heart Leave the heart mould in the freezer for a few minutes and take the hearts out or if you go for balls, put them in the fridge to firm up for about an hour. Decorate with your favourite super foods and colours of your choice; I used coconut, turmeric, barleygrass powder and goji berries. Make it appealing to your eye and soul! And enjoy it!!!

I would recommend using a food processor but it is possible to make them in a blender as well. However blenders are much faster so please remember to blend for a very short time, just to crumble all the ingredients, you will get a slightly different mixture than you would get from a food processor but that’s fine.

Stay creative and make every day a SPECIAL DAY!

Happy May

Alkaline Body Benefits!

According to many health experts, in an alkaline body there is no room for illnesses and disorders! It is an acidic body that is a perfect environment to develop many common diseases like cancers, diabetes, heart diseases, high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, fatigue, just to mention a few – they cannot form or survive in an alkaline state!
So it is extremely important for your good health to balance the pH level and keep your body alkaline and let it perform at its best!
pH level

pH (potential hydrogen) is a way of measuring the level of the alkalinity or acidity in our body; zero = acid, 14 = alkaline.

You need slightly alkaline body as your cells, your immune system and bacteria in your gut all require an alkaline environment; above 7.0 is alkaline; our blood pH has a very narrow range, ideally for human body about 7.35 to 7.45. Anything above that value is considered alkaline; anything below is described as acidic. If our blood pH differs from this range, we fall sick or begin to show symptoms of sickness. If the pH value drops below 6.8 or above 7.8, our cells will stop functioning properly and the human body will die.

What are the main factors to make your body acidic:
• Stress, negative emotions, envy, anger
• alcohol, smoking, coffee,
• polluted environment, lack of oxygen,
• dehydration, fizzy drinks
• refined white products like sugar, pasta, bread, rice
• pharmaceuticals and artificial sweeteners
• meat and animal fat
• processed foods
• dairy products
These are the main indicators, the list can go on!

Let’s concentrate on what is good and beneficial for your body.                                               How to become more alkaline:
1. Get plenty of fresh air and learn to breathe deeply
2. Slow abdominal breathing leads to relaxation, helps to reduce stress and to alkalise the body by detoxifying the blood stream.
3. Stop drinking alcohol, coffee and smoking or at least start reducing them.
4. Drink plenty of fresh, clean water, stay hydrated; start your day with lemon water!             5. Follow with fresh green alkalizing juice or smoothie in the morning.

Green Alkalizing Juice

6. Switch to nutritious and alkaline diet; introduce more plant-based foods.
7. All green vegetables with high alkalinity like broccoli, cabbage, celery, kale, spinach, lettuce, chicory, fennel, dill, cauliflower, chives, cucumber, dandelion, endive,
8. Other vegetables; carrots, parsnips, green beans, mushrooms, peppers, sweet potatoes, radishes, squash, turnips, watercress, aubergines, beetroots.
9. Sprouts, fermented and cultured foods.
10. Use natural household cleaning agents such as soda or diluted apple cider vinegar.
11. Use natural bath and body products.
12. Wear natural clothing, avoid synthetics!
13. Meditation and concentration; yoga or other kind of exercise is great!

These are only general hints and a starting point; you can find out more about alkaline and acidic foods here: http://www.phmiracleliving.com/t-food-chart.aspx

There are recommendations that to naturally balance our pH level we consume 80% alkaline-forming foods and just 20% of acid-forming foods.  To guide you which direction to go and how to implement alkalizing drinks and foods or other important factors into everyday life, join us for series of Raw Food topics, useful tips and recipes in the following blogs.
